Tattersalls are a specialist residential letting agency

management service at very competitive fees. If required our
services can be tailored to suit your specific requirements,
such a ‘Let Only’ service or purely tenancy agreements. In
all cases we will provide a written quotation on request.
Both Chris Tattersall and Sue Beresford (Office Manager) and
the rest of the team with their many years experience in
local property letting are available to discuss any points
you might have about letting your property.
If you are considering
letting we will be happy to visit your property and give
advice on its current rental value. We will also visit a
property prior to purchase if you considering a Buy to Let.
If so desired we can make recommendations concerning what
facilities and contents etc. should be provided. We would
also discuss with you, current Landlord and Tenant
legislation, as well as other aspects of letting so that you
are aware of the implications of letting your property. This
we would confirm in writing without any obligation to you.
If you then decided to place your property with Tattersalls
we would then need to go through the exact details of the
type of tenant you are seeking along with the names of your
nominated contractors etc.
Our very competitive
management fee has no hidden extras. We only charge one
week’s rental as an administration fee when a tenant takes
up occupation. If you wish Tattersalls to compile an
Inventory and a state of decorative order and the property
is unfurnished we will compile this free of charge.
We are available 24 hours a
day to deal with emergencies. In such an event as a burst
pipe we would organise contractors with all due haste. We
make no extra charge for arranging this; it is all part of
our service.
Once your property is
registered with us, we aim to match the right prospective
Tenant to the property as quickly and as efficiently as
possible.
Tattersalls are based in
Great Torrington and this makes us ideally situated to
manage and deal with properties from Barnstaple in the East
to Bude in the West. This area takes in the towns of
Bideford, South Molton, Winkleigh, Hatherleigh and
Holsworthy as well as the many rural villages in between.
Tattersalls are members of
the United Kingdom Association of Letting Agents, UKALA, and
we fully abide by the association’s code of conduct. We also
have full professional indemnity insurance.
Tattersalls recognise that
your letting will be more profitable in the long run if
tenants are happy. This gives you a steadier cash flow and
fewer intermediate expenses. To this end, without in any way
reducing our loyalty to you, we aim to show interest in and
concern for the tenants we find for you, creating less void
periods and a more profitable let for you.
