Electricity and gas meters will be read at the beginning of
each Tenancy and the accounts will be transferred to the
Tenant’s name by Tattersalls. Tattersalls will also transfer
the water rates and the Council Tax into the Tenant’s names.
British Telecom will only accept instructions from the
account holder so Tattersalls will not be able to deal with
this account. The Landlord is required to advise Tattersalls
of their gas and electricity suppliers.
Tenants have the right to
purchase their gas and electricity from whom ever they wish
and are entitled to have electric key meters and gas cards
fitted.
At the conclusion of a
Tenancy we will read the meters and advise the utility
companies accordingly. |
